Halloween!!

We loved Halloween this year (and every other too)! Edi was a dainty purple flower and Ila the busy bee. They cleaned up and looked cute doing it!!! We did all the traditional fun things: carved pumpkins, had a small Halloween party where we made cookies and colored skeletons. We went with our fun neighbors to the pumpkin patch and although I thought it was a bit steep but it was super fun!!! Edi's pig even won the piggy race and she got a fake pig nose to take home-she was loving it since her favorite thing to play at that moment was Wilber.

Enjoy!

Fun Fall Time!

We did so many fun things this fall. Three of the most fun things we did were going to Zion's with the Bayles', hiking Donut Falls with our good friends the Erickson's and visiting Arizona where we got to see the Bayles' and my bro Nate and his wife and kids. We sure love our friends and family-we think we have some of the best!!! Keep the good times coming!

Big Time Catch Up!

So here I am again-alive and living. I have slacked but I am back and catching up so hold on. I thought I would give tid-bits of what we have done since our garden came and went. Edith is in pre-school and dance and loves loves loves them both. She is so great and growing like crazy. Ila is so dang cute I can't believe she is mine. She is eating everything (eatable and non eatable) and crawling everywhere and almost walking. She takes a few steps but then falls. She is not giving up yet though-I catch her practicing when she is quietly playing. I laugh-she is so cute. She is signing a bit-she says "more" "all done" "bye bye" and she will even throw you a kiss if your special. (which most people are). Well enjoy the overload of pic and I will post a bit about each.

Oh How Does Your Garden Grow!

How It All Started
(Don't Mind The Lack of Grass We Have)
The Tomatoes, Raspberries, and Herbs Beginning

The Greenery
Hard Squash and Peppers
Yellow, Zucchini, and Cucumber!

Edi found this tomato! It is a beast!

Showing off the spaghetti squash!

So it is small but flourishing. The peas and beans didn't make it but that is because I didn't plant them early enough. We love the yummy squash, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce and herbs that our garden is giving us. Edi loves it too. We always go out and search for veggies ripe enough to pick. I love summer!

Edi's 3 Year Birthday in Utah (i know it is out of order)

We had so much fun at Edith's 3 year birthday. The weather was so perfect the entire time and as soon as we blew out the candles and moved onto the porch to do cake and ice cream it hailed so hard! The kids loved it!
I can't believe how big she is getting and not to mention how independent too-it kind of makes me sad but that is life huh?
Edi choose everything this year for her birthday. She wanted it to be a butterfly theme. So we went to the craft store and found super cute butterfly visors to decorate. Since there were going to be boys and girls at the party we threw some turtles, sharks and penguins hats in the mix too. We decorated those with glitter glue, played tag and duck duck goose (edi's favorite), opened presents, ate taco soup and then we presented Edi with her butterfly cake! She loved it and I loved making it!
So many of Edith's friends came and made it so much fun for her. We sure love her and couldn't have asked for a better little girl!
