The Family!

So after all the dancing fun we took some very casual family pics.
You can tell that Edi is not too into it but she played along. My favorite is the funny face one, because I look soooo bad, bryan, handsome as always, and Edi pulled a great face! We said, "make a funny face," and this is what she came up with! Who knows where she learned this trick!?

Family Night, Dancing and Pictures!

So Edi is super sick but i will tell you she is the most fun sick baby you could ever have. We had a fun family night the other monday and i thought i would post the "activity" part. This same activity usually happens at the end of every lesson, we dance. For some odd reason Edi really loves it. She has a special blanket she dances with every time as well. So enjoy....My personal favorites are the deep second plie where edi looks about 7 months pregnant and the big side stretch-her balancing act!

2007 At a Glance!

So I am starting one of these things! Why not put one more thing on my plate! No Biggie! But I am actually excited-it is fun to share your life with those you know and love. Since this is a new year I will give a quick run down of our 2007 year! (family photo-right-done by Natalie Simpson NHS Photo).

To begin it started by moving to Salt Lake City and Bryan began his first "real" employment! Yeah for him! He works for SLR, a land development company.  He loves it-his plate is overflowing with responsibility but he thrives in this kind of environment. He is traveling a lot and is in charge of developmental approvals for lots and I mean LOTS of land. He also had many fun adventures, Heli Sking, Fishing in Alaska and last but not the least Bear Hunting-and yes we now have a bear rug!!

I finally got a permanent (for now) place and got to do my thing with it (decorate). It was so much fun. I recovered a couch, redid a dresser, and did a lot of consignment shopping at EmilieJayne and Abode.

I participated, with 2 of my sisters, in the HERA Overian Cancer Climb this September. We were the Calamity Climbers (for real). It was a blast and all for a wonderful cause. I recommend it to everyone.
I am also teaching dance a few hours a week at a studio in Sandy and Saturday adult modern dance classes-so all who want to come, please do. (i am sure you are all dying to take a modern class! ha ha!)

Edith has had a year full of change. Before her first birthday she had moved 3 times!!! Oh brother! She had her first birthday in June, a McMullin family reunion, halloween and her second Christmas this December and lots of fun and traveling and park time in between. She has her very own play group and a best friend (her cousin Isaac). She is talking up a storm and runs everywhere she goes.

A big family change came at the end of the holiday season. My grandma of 95 years passed away on the 27th of December. It was a sad thing (for us) but a very happy thing for her and my Grandpa. We said that she gave him an early birthday present-his was on the 29th. The funeral was beautiful and I had the privilege of speaking. It will now be different after 9 years of
having them in our home in Bountiful and helping with there personal care. My mom and dad are now truly empty nesters.
